CHICAGO — O’Neal Industries Inc. has promoted Suzanne Lane to vice president and corporate controller.

Lane, who previously served as director of financial reporting, will assume primary responsibility for all of O’Neal Industries’ cash and treasury activities, in addition to maintaining her existing responsibilities of overseeing the company’s accounting, financial reporting and payroll activities.

Prior to joining the Birmingham, Ala.-based company in 2010, Lane was director of hedge fund valuation and analysis at Harbert Management Corp. in Birmingham. She is a certified public accountant who worked as an outside auditor with Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Ltd.

Separately, O’Neal Manufacturing Services has named Bruce Colorito as major account manager. He joined O’Neal Steel’s Pittsburgh office in 1997 as an inside salesman, and was promoted to various posts since then, the most recent being last year to sales manager for O’Neal Steel-Pittsburgh.

O’Neal Industries is the parent of O’Neal Steel, O’Neal Manufacturing and a dozen other metals companies.
