NEW YORK — American Manganese Inc. has appointed Jan Eigenhuis to its board of directors.
Eigenhuis was previously a senior executive with South African manganese metal producer Manganese Metal Co. (MMC) and is now a consultant for MMC, the company said.
MMC is the largest supplier of the material outside of China, which accounts for about 97 percent of the world’s manganese metal production.
