Metals industry veteran Mike Frawley has left his position as global head of metals at Newedge, the company has confirmed.
John Fay, global head of fixed income, commodities and currencies has taken over direct responsibility for the metals business, Newedge said.
Frawley, a former board director of the London Metal Exchange, had spent over 20 years at Newedge and its previous incarnations as Carr Futures and Calyon.
His next move is not yet known.
Fay joined Newedge in December 2009 to run the company’s Americas business.
The Newedge metals business will “continue to operate a seamless service for clients,” it said.
