The Fort Belvoir, Va.-based agency offered 280 tons of 0.11-percent and 280 tons of 0.16-percent material, both from its Ravenna, Ohio, depot.
The agency offered 1,020 tons of low-carbon ferrochrome last month, but it has not yet released its sales figures for June.
Low-carbon ferrochrome prices have softened recently on weaker demand, with 0.10-percent material trading between $2.16 and $2.22 per pound and 0.15-percent material trading between $2.09 and $2.12 per pound.
