NEW YORK — Bankrupt steelmaker RG Steel LLC has accepted a $1.16-million offer for the mineral rights to its land in Brooke County, W.Va.
Oklahoma City, Okla.-based Mineral Acquisition Co. has offered to pay $3,000 per acre for 386.764 net mineral acres of land, according to documents filed in federal bankruptcy court in Delaware.
The proposed sale still requires bankruptcy court approval.
Neither company’s counsel could be reached for comment.
