NEW YORK — Hickman, Williams & Co. has named David Gelwicks vice president and chief operating officer.

Gelwicks, who joined the company in 1993, will be responsible for the daily operating functions of the Oak Brook, Ill.-based company.

Company controller Stuart Shroyer and Mark Bidoli, sales manager for the eastern region, have been named to Hickman, Williams’ management committee.

The sales and service company markets a variety of materials, including metallurgical coke and ferroalloys, to producers in the metals sector.
