NEW YORK — The Commerce Department’s International Trade Administration (ITA) is seeking public comment on its proposed rule to modify regulations for the Steel Import Monitoring and Analysis System.

The proposal would extend until March 21, 2017, Commerce’s ability to track certain steel mill imports into the United States as early as possible.

Comments are due within 30 days.
