CHICAGO — The Original Equipment Suppliers Association (OESA) has elected Jacqueline A. Dedo as chairwoman of its board for the 2012-13 term, succeeding Brose North America Inc. chairman Jan Kowal.

Dedo, chief strategy officer of Dana Holding Corp., previously served as vice chairwoman of the Troy, Mich.-based group, which represents Tier I and II auto suppliers.

"Dedo has nearly 30 years of leadership experience in the automotive industry, which has proven to be very valuable to our board and translates to increased value to our members," OESA president and chief executive officer Neil De Koker said in a statement.

Grede Holdings LLC chairman, president and chief executive officer Doug Grimm and Peterson Spring Corp. president and chief executive officer Dan Sceli were elected vice chairmen for the new term.
