NEW YORK — Stainless component parts and fittings manufacturer QMC Technologies Inc. is planning a $422,800 expansion of its western New York facility.

The 9,800-square-foot expansion at Depew, N.Y.-based QMC’s facility will include a 8,500-square-foot assembly and storage area and a 1,350-square-foot addition for manufacturing and quality control purposes, according to documents submitted to the Erie County Industrial Development Agency.

Three new positions will be created as a result of the expansion of QMC’s existing 15,500-square-foot factory, adding to its staff of 20.

The project will be supported by $89,220 in incentives from the development agency in the form of property, mortgage and sales tax savings, according to the documents.
