NEW YORK — ArcelorMittal USA Inc. has increased published prices for plate products by a minimum of $50 per ton, the company said in a letter to customers dated Nov. 21.

The Chicago-based steelmaker said the increase is effective with all new orders and is in addition to the $50-per-ton increase announced Nov. 7 (amm.com, Nov. 7).

Nucor Corp. last week also announced a second round of hikes (amm.com, Nov. 21). It followed a leading move by SSAB Americas on Nov. 19 (amm.com, Nov. 20).
