NEW YORK Royal Nickel Corp. (RNC) has filed an environmental and social impact assessment for its Dumont nickel project in Quebec.
"RNC anticipates receipt of the necessary permits for the development of Dumont by early 2014," the Toronto-based company said.
Dumont is expected to produce 49,000 tonnes per year of nickel over its 19-year mine life and 29,000 tonnes annually from stockpiled ore for the following 12 years.
