NEW YORK — Wise Metals Group LLC’s Richard Weaver has retired as vice president of strategic planning and development after more than 30 years with the company.

Weaver officially stepped down from the role Oct. 30. His responsibilities have been absorbed by the rest of the Muscle Shoals, Ala.-based company’s senior management team, a Wise spokeswoman told AMM.

"We wish all the best for Dick as he transitions to a new stage in his life," Wise president and chief executive officer David D’Addario said in a statement.
