SINGAPORE — India’s National Aluminium Co. Ltd. (Nalco) has sold 12,000 tonnes of aluminum ingots at a premium of $213 per tonne over the average London Metal Exchange cash price on a c.i.f. basis, a company official told AMM sister publication Metal Bulletin on Wednesday.

A Singapore-based trader won the latest tender by Nalco and will receive the material in eight batches of 1,500 tonnes from December to July, he said.

Earlier in November, Bhubaneswar, India-based Nalco sold 12,000 tonnes of aluminum to a Hong Kong-based buyer at a $225-per-tonne premium on c.i.f. Singapore parity. The metal was sold in six batches of 2,000 tonnes each from December to May.
