ITA makes determinations in Vietnamese steel wire garment hangers probe

NEW YORK — The Commerce Department’s International Trade Administration (ITA)  has issued a preliminary determination in a countervailing duty investigation that critical circumstances exist for some imports of steel wire garment hangers from Vietnam in 2011, although critical circumstances do not exist for mandatory respondent Hamico Co. The petitioners are Innovative Fabrication LLC/Indy Hanger, M&B Metal Products Co. Inc. and U.S. Hanger Co. LLC.
