NEW YORK A federal judge in Alabama has set a date to hear ThyssenKrupp Steel USA LLCs complaint alleging that a Georgia contractor is responsible for more than $75,000 worth of defects at the steelmakers hot-strip mill in Calvert, Ala.
The hearing, to be held Jan. 3, will also address Austell, Ga.-based United Forming Inc.s counterclaim that it is owed about $19.4 million from the ThyssenKrupp AG subsidiary for services rendered, according to documents filed Wednesday in U.S. District Court in Alabama.
