NEW YORK — Former Severstal North America Inc. executive Greg Goad has joined Cleveland-based Harvard Steel Sales as chief commercial officer.

Goad, who worked at the Dearborn, Mich.-based steelmaker for three years, most recently served as Severstal NA’s general manager of specialty and value-added products (amm.com, Aug. 1).

Prior to joining Severstal, Goad worked at Toledo, Ohio-based Heidtman Steel Products Inc.

In the new role, Goad will report to Jeremy Jacobs, president and chief executive officer of Harvard Steel Sales, which specializes in flat-rolled carbon steel products.
