PITTSBURGH A decision to allow Copperking LLC to open a bulk metal recycling center in Oakland, Calif., is being appealed.
A conditional-use permit approved by the Oakland City Planning Commission has been appealed by Jay Coriell, Jed Myall and Robert Schwartz, and a hearing has been set for Jan. 16. It is unclear why the three are appealing and none of the parties could be reached for comment.
The 24,540-square-foot building on 0.82 acres formerly served as a warehouse.
