NEW YORK The Aluminum Extrusions Fair Trade Committee has filed a challenge at the U.S. Court of International Trade over the Commerce Departments final scope ruling on side-mount valve controls under the anti-dumping and countervailing duty orders on aluminum extrusions from China.
The committee claims that the exclusion of the "finished goods kit" is not supported by substantial evidence, and that the ruling "directly conflicts with (Commerces) established practice in previous scope rulings."
