NEW YORK — AK Steel Holding Corp. controller and chief accounting officer Richard S. Williams is resigning from his post effective Feb. 7.

Williams will return to St. Vincent College, where he had worked until 2007, according to a document filed Tuesday with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

He was appointed to his current role at the West Chester, Ohio-based steelmaker in 2010 (amm.com, May 28, 2010).

A replacement for the position has not yet been selected, an AK Steel spokesman told AMM in an e-mail.
