O’Neal taps Simons; Campo exits

NEW YORK — John Campo has retired as vice president of sales and marketing at O’Neal Industries Inc. and has been replaced by Jeff Simons, effective Jan. 1.

Simons has been promoted to vice president of marketing and business development at Birmingham, Ala.-based O’Neal Industries from the role of vice president of sales and marketing for the company’s steel division. Simons has been with O’Neal for nearly 26 years.

Campo, who joined O’Neal in 2007 (amm.com, May 18, 2007), has held numerous roles in the steel industry, including serving as executive vice president for commercial at the former Corus Tuscaloosa Steel, now part of Nucor Corp.
