NEW YORK — Northwest Pipe Co. has named Duke Watson as vice president of sales for the tubular products group, it said Thursday.

Watson replaced Les Boswell six months ago, a spokesman for the Vancouver, Wash.-based steel tube and pipe maker told AMM, having most previously served as director of sales and marketing at the abandonment and construction division of oilfield services company Tetra Technologies Inc.

Watson will lead the tubular products sales team and oversee all U.S. and Canadian tubular sales.

"Duke’s wealth of knowledge and experience will be a valuable asset in forwarding Northwest Pipe Co.’s position in both the (oil country tubular goods) and line pipe markets," chief executive officer Scott Montross said.
