NEW YORK JMC Steel Group is challenging a U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) ruling that imports of circular-welded carbon-quality steel pipe from India, Oman, the United Arab Emirates and Vietnam are not hurting the domestic industry, according to a U.S. Court of International Trade filing.
Meanwhile, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) government has challenged the Commerce Departments final determination in a countervailing duty investigation of circular-welded carbon-quality steel pipe imports.
In a separate filing, KHK Scaffolding & Formwork LLC and Universal Tube & Plastics Industries LLC also have challenged the Commerce ruling, which set subsidy margins ranging from 2.06 to 6.17 percent for UAE shipments.
SeAH Steel Vina Corp. also has contested the same Commerce decision on shipments from Vietnam.
