NEW YORK — United Performance Metals Inc. (UPM) has named Kathy Esquerra regional account manager at its La Mirada, Calif., service center.

Esquerra’s appointment "will continue to strengthen United Performance Metals’ presence on the West Coast," Hamilton, Ohio-based UPM said, noting that she will represent the company in Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico, and northern and central California.

Esquerra formerly served as a sales representative at Orange, Calif.-based Altemp Alloys Inc. and Exton, Pa.-based TW Metals Inc., according to her LinkedIn profile.

UPM, a subsidiary of Birmingham, Ala.-based O’Neal Industries Inc., focuses on the supply of specialty stainless steel and high-temperature alloys.
