PITTSBURGH — Momentum Metals & Recycling is planning to open its third facility in Texas.

The Burleson, Texas-based company has submitted a site-development plan for a property in Granbury, about 40 miles southwest of Fort Worth.

The Hood County Commissioners’ Court will take up the matter Jan. 22 and decide whether to approve, deny or table the request. If the plan is approved, the company can proceed, a county planner said.

No other details were available, and the company couldn’t be reached for comment.

Momentum Metals, formerly Mansfield Metals Inc., has a second facility in Weatherford, in the Fort Worth area.
