Keywords: Tags  ITC, wind towers, dumping, subsidies

NEW YORK — The U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) has voted that imports of utility scale wind towers from China and Vietnam are causing or threatening to cause material injury to the domestic industry.

The Commerce Department’s International Trade Administration (ITA) earlier set dumping margins at 44.99 to 70.63 percent for Chinese producers/exporters and 51.5 to 58.49 percent for Vietnamese shipments (, Dec. 19).

The ITA also determined that Chinese producers/exporters received subsidies of between 21.86 and 34.81 percent.

The petitioner is the Wind Tower Trade Coalition.
