NEW YORK — Marcegaglia USA Inc. has signed a marketing agreement with distributor Phillips Metals Inc. to supply stainless and nonferrous tubing and pipe to the domestic automotive industry, according to Phillips Metals.

Marcegaglia USA, a subsidiary of Mantua, Italy-based flat products and pipe producer Marcegaglia, operates a manufacturing facility in Munhall, Pa., where it makes stainless steel, duplex and high-nickel alloy pipe and tubing in diameters ranging from 0.25 inch to 12.75 inches, as well as galvanized tubular products and ornamental shapes, according to the company’s website.

Plainfield, Ill.-based Phillips Metals, a supplier of highly engineered tubing and tubular products, has direct sales relationships with a number of tube and pipe mills.
