CHICAGO The Aluminum Association and the Metal Powder Industries Federation (MPIF) plan to share information in an effort to bolster their metal-powder safety efforts.
The initiative was made official with a memorandum of understanding signed by Aluminum Association president Heidi Brock and MPIF vice president for member and industry relations James Dale, the Aluminum Association announced.
"By formalizing our relationship with MPIF, our member companies will be better informed on issues related to metal powder and dust," Brock said in a statement.
