MONTERREY, Mexico Keystone Steel & Wire Co. vice president of industrial sales Richard Webb is retiring after 43 years in the industry.
Webb started his career at Cleveland-based Republic Steel Corp. in 1969 and joined Atlanta-based Atlantic Steel Co. 10 years later. He was appointed Atlantic Steels vice president of sales and marketing in 1987.
In 2000, Webb joined Peoria, Ill.-based Keystone as national sales manager for wire rod, and was named vice president of sales and marketing a year later.
Webb will remain under contract as a consultant to Keystone after his Jan. 31 retirement. The company has not yet named a successor.
