CHICAGO — Service Center Metals LLC (SCM) has lowered prices by 2 cents per pound on all products.

The decrease is effective on all new orders and for open orders scheduled to ship on or after Feb. 1, the Prince George, Va.-based extruder said in a Jan. 31 letter to customers.

The increase does not affect SCM’s firm metal agreements with customers.
