PITTSBURGH Steinert US Inc. scrap market vice president Dennis Ciccotelli will retire May 31 after nearly a half century in the recycling industry.
The Walton, Ky.-based provider of separation equipment for the scrap, waste and mining industries credits Ciccotelli with helping to expand the U.S. division of German parent Steinert GmbH from a satellite operation with three employees to a corporation with more than 30 employees.
"For many of our customers, Steinert US is Dennis Ciccotelli," president Jason Looman said in a statement. "He has been a great leader, innovator, friend and mentor to many in the industry."
Ciccotelli began his career in 1964 as a crane and monorail engineer and later worked at Camden Iron & Metals Inc. and Resource Recycling LLC before representing Steinert GmbH in the United States.
