Commerce issues scope rulings on steel, aluminum products

NEW YORK — The Commerce Department’s International Trade Administration (ITA) has published a list of scope rulings and anti-circumvention determinations on products from China.

The ITA has ruled that electrical rigid metal steel conduits from LDA Incopordo are not within the scope of anti-dumping and countervailing duty orders on circular-welded carbon quality steel pipe, and steel wire canine pet fashion hangers from PetEdge Inc. are not within the scope of an anti-dumping duty order on steel wire garment hangers.

In addition, water heater anodes from A.O. Smith Corp., Solarmotion controllable sunshades from Construction Specialties Inc., aluminum rails for showers and carpets from Sinobec Resources LLS, side-mount valve controls from Innovative Controls Inc., inner and outer motor cases from UQM Technologies Inc., fin evaporator systems from Electrolux North America Inc., Electrolux Home Products Inc. and Electrolux Major Appliances, two specific models of unassembled geodesic structure kits from J.A. Hancock Co. Inc. and kitted fence products from Ameristar Fence Products are not within the scope of duty orders on aluminum extrusions.
