NEW YORK — Steel alloy distributor Corrosion Materials has expanded its inventory to include sheet, pipe, flanges and fittings after moving to a larger, purpose-built facility in Houston, the company said.

The company relocated from its old Houston location to the new 30,000-square-foot facility in October.

“The old facility didn’t lend itself to certain products and sizes,” branch manager Ruben Muro told AMM Feb. 13., adding that the new facility also allows for future expansion, if necessary.

The new facility has allowed the distributor to broaden its inventory to better serve the needs of the local process industries, while its enhanced production capabilities also make it easier to accommodate same-day service.

In addition to its Houston site, the Baker, La.-based company also has branches in Chicago and Shanghai.
