NEW YORK — Marmon/Keystone Corp. has completed the rebuild of its Birmingham, Ala., service center, which sustained damage in a tornado last year.

The Butler, Pa.-based steel tube and pipe distributor has added three new Amada high-speed band saws and a new DoAll miter saw at the 105,000-square-foot location, which will "increase productivity" and offer expanded cutting capabilities of up to 26 inches in outside-diameter pipe, the company said.

The company’s Birmingham facility—which serves customers in Alabama, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi and Tennessee—operated from a temporary site following the Jan. 23, 2012, tornado (amm.com, March 21).
