BURSA, Turkey — The Turkish Exporters’ Assembly is organizing a trade delegation that will visit Houston and Dallas in early April.
The Turkish Minister of the Economy, Zafer Caglayan, will lead the delegation. The April 1-5 visit will include a business forum in Houston attended by Turkish and U.S. authorities, the Istanbul Minerals and Metals Exporters’ Association said.
The delegation, which hopes to boost Turkey’s exports to the United States and create new export opportunities, will include representatives of the iron, steel, machinery, and pipe and fittings industries. Other sectors represented will include aerospace, defense, energy, oil and petrochemicals, construction and shipping.
