NEW YORK — Abakan Inc. has appointed welding expert Damian Kotecki to its board of advisors.
Kotecki has 43 years of experience in the welding industry, including in welding research, pipeline failure analysis and stainless/high-alloy welding filler metal, according to Miami-based Abakan, the parent company of pipe-cladding firm MesoCoat Inc.
He is also a former president of the American Welding Society, where he currently chairs a subcommittee on stainless steel welding and an international standards committee.
