CHICAGO Central Steel & Wire Co. has named Harry Kiafoulis director of sales for the east region, succeeding Larry Turner, who will retire in July after 41 years with the metals processor and distributor.
Kiafoulis, who comes to Central Steel & Wire with more than 15 years experience in the automotive and metals industries, will be responsible for sales in lower Michigan and northern Ohio.
"We will miss Larry, whose 18 years experience in consultative selling includes the creation of value-added processes, inventory control and supply-chain management strategies, which serve our customers well," chief marketing officer and vice president of sales Steve Letnich said in a statement.
The Chicago-based company operates stocking facilities in Cincinnati; Detroit; Milwaukee, Wis.; and Greensboro, N.C., as well as a coil-processing facility in Portage, Ind.
