PITTSBURGH TKO Recycling
expects to open its fourth California facility April 1
following the approval of a conditional-use permit by the
Placer County Planning Commission.
A company executive told
AMM that the feeder yard in Newcastle will buy ferrous
and nonferrous material and electronic scrap, and also will
participate in the California Redemption Value (CRV)
TKO, which already operates scrapyards in Cordova, North
Highlands and Stockton, said it had been working for four
months to gain approval for the 0.8-acre Newcastle site.
