SINGAPORE Preliminary consolidated operating revenue at China Steel Corp., Taiwans only integrated steelmaker, fell to NT$24.7 million ($830,500) in February, down 24 percent from the previous month.
The drop was due to the shorter working month as well as the extended Chinese New Year holiday, a company spokesman said March 15.
Consolidated income before tax was NT$1.48 million ($49,800) last month, up 3 percent from January, while consolidated operating income rose 12 percent to NT$1.65 million ($55,500).
