NEW YORK RBC Capital Markets has appointed Bruce Garner managing director and head of metals.
Garners responsibilities will include developing the banks global base and precious metals business, the Toronto-based firm said.
He will report to Bruce Macdonald, head of commodities and electronic trading at RBC Capital Markets, and will be based in New York.
Garner joins RBC from Standard Bank Ltd., where he was head of commodities. Before that, Garner was Deutsche Bank AGs head of commodities sales for Europe and the Americas.
