NEW YORK Members of the United Auto Workers (UAW) union at AK Steel Corp.s Coshocton, Ohio, facility have ratified a new three-year labor agreement.
"The agreement continues to serve the interests of both the company and Local 3462 members in our increasingly competitive industry," James L. Wainscott, president, chairman and chief executive officer of the West Chester, Ohio-based company, said in a statement.
The new agreement, which covers 330 hourly workers at the flat-rolled stainless plant, will take effect March 31 and expire March 31, 2016.
