Lohnes exits TransCanada unit

NEW YORK — Gregory Lohnes has resigned as chairman of the board and director of TC PipeLines GP Inc., effective March 25.

Lohnes will remain executive vice president of operations and major projects at TransCanada PipeLines Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of Calgary, Alberta-based TransCanada Corp. and the indirect parent company of TC PipeLines.

He will be replaced by Karl Johannson, who is also executive vice president and president of natural gas pipelines for TransCanada, according to the company.

TC PipeLines LP, which is managed by TC PipeLines GP, has significant interests in about 5,560 miles of natural gas pipelines in the United States (amm.com, Feb. 11).
