NEW YORK — The U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) is expected to issue a preliminary determination by May 13 on whether there is a reasonable indication that imports of diffusion-annealed nickel-plated steel flat products from Japan are injuring or threatening injury to the U.S. industry.

The anti-dumping trade petition was filed by Thomas Steel Strip Corp., a Warren, Ohio-based division of India’s Tata Steel Ltd. (amm.com, March 29).
