Minn.’s Crow Wing Recycling adds two to executive roster

PITTSBURGH — Minnesota’s Crow Wing Recycling Inc. has hired two executives to fill newly created positions, the company said.

Ean Kuhlmey has joined the company as an account executive and will be responsible for business development in central and northern Minnesota. Kuhlmey has a decade of experience in the sales industry, half of which is in the scrap metals recycling sector.

In addition, Emily Hanzlik has joined the company as environmental health and safety manager. She will oversee and implement workplace health and safety practices at the Brainerd, Minn.-based company’s three locations.

Crow Wing Recycling runs Pine River Iron & Metal LLC in Backus, Minn., and Milaca Iron & Metal LLC in Milaca, Minn., in addition to a shredding operation in Brainerd. The company processed 120,000 tons of ferrous scrap and 10 million pounds of nonferrous scrap metal in 2012.
