Commerce rules China pipe subsidized

NEW YORK — The Commerce Department’s International Trade Administration (ITA) has determined in a preliminary review of a countervailing duty order on imports of drill pipe from China from March 3 to Dec. 31, 2011, that Shanxi Yida Special Steel Import & Export Co. Ltd. and affiliates Shanxi Yida Special Steel Group Co. Ltd. and Shanxi Yida Petroleum Equipment Manufacturing Co. Ltd. received countervailable subsidies of 5.23 percent.
