NEW YORK ArcelorMittal USA LLC has made a number of
management changes, the company said April 2.
Pat Parker has been named vice president of labor relations at
the Chicago-based company, where he will serve as the chief
negotiator for flat and long carbon operations within the
United States. Parker, who will report to president and chief
executive officer Michael G. Rippey, previously worked as a
division manager in the labor relations department.
The steelmaker has also appointed Raymond Hawkins to general
manager of its LaPlace, La., mini-mill operations and Dan
Tunacik to general manager of its ArcelorMittal Indiana
Harbor Long Carbon operations in East Chicago, Ind.
Hawkins and Tunacik will report to P.S. Venkataramanan, chief
executive officer of ArcelorMittal Long Carbon North America.
Hawkins previously worked as general manager of the Indiana
Harbor facility, while Tunacik, who succeeds Hawkins,
previously worked as a division manager.
Editor's note: An earlier version of this story misstated
Dan Tunacik's new title.
