Commerce sets subsidy rates on pipe, tube imports

NEW YORK — The Commerce Department’s International Trade Administration (ITA) has issued preliminary results in a countervailing duty administrative review of imports of circular-welded carbon steel pipe and tube from Turkey from Jan. 1 to Dec. 31, 2011.

The ITA assessed subsidy margins of 0.24 percent for Borusan (including Borusan Group, Borusan Mannesmann Boru Sanayi ve Ticaret AS and Borusan Istikbal Ticaret TAS), 0.3 percent for Erbosan (including Erbosan Erciyas Boru Sanayi ve Ticaret AS and Erbosan Erciyas Pipe Industry & Trade Co.) and 0.29 percent for Toscelik Profil (including Tosyali Dis Ticaret AS and Toscelik Profil ve Sac Endustrisi AS), all de minimis rates.

The final results are due within 120 days.
