Hamilton to succeed Crowdis at Bonnell Aluminum

NEW YORK — W. Brook Hamilton has been named president of extruder Bonnell Aluminum Inc. effective June 1, parent company Tredegar Corp. said April 9.

Hamilton will succeed Duncan A. Crowdis, who plans to retire (, Feb. 22).

Hamilton joined Bonnell in 2005 and served as plant manager of the company’s Newnan, Ga., facility from 2006 to 2012 before being promoted to director of business planning in 2012.

"(Hamilton) brings more than 30 years of broad-based industry experience and proven leadership skills to his new role as Bonnell’s president. His extensive background in operations, combined with his business management and process management skills, will help Bonnell enhance its position as an industry leader," Nancy M. Taylor, president and chief executive officer of Richmond, Va.-based Tredegar, said in a statement.
