Commerce launches dumping probe on nickel-plated steel

NEW YORK — The Commerce Department’s International Trade Administration (ITA) will initiate an anti-dumping duty investigation on imports of diffusion-annealed nickel-plated steel flat products from Japan.

The U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) is expected to make its preliminary injury determination May 13 (, April 1).

The petitioner is Thomas Steel Strip Corp., a Warren, Ohio-based division of India’s Tata Steel Ltd.
