Elgin opens sixth recycling facility

PITTSBURGH — Elgin Recycling has opened a sixth location, in Arlington Heights, Ill.

The one-acre site accepts and processes ferrous and nonferrous materials, as well as electronic scrap. The facility, which had an existing 13,250-square-foot building, is now fully staffed and capable of processing scrap, according to the company, which declined to comment further.
