ITA again amends review results vs. Indian flat-rolled steel

NEW YORK — The U.S. Commerce Department’s International Trade Administration (ITA) has issued a second set of amended final results in the countervailing duty administrative review of hot-rolled carbon steel flat products from India.

After several remands from the U.S. Court of International Trade concerning adverse facts available assigned to Essar Steel Ltd. in connection with the state government of Chhattisgarh, the ITA has assessed the steelmaker a 76.88-percent subsidy margin.
